INFO: Each month, at the end of the testing, one dog is chosen to receive a basic obedience class scholarship. Evaluations are performed by Who's Walking Who dog trainers & behaviorists

 ANNUAL DOG RUN HALLOWEEN PARADE
 October
 Tompkins Square Park
Dogs show off their bark worthy tricks & costumes at the city's oldest and largest Dog Run Halloween Parade. Dogs compete for $5,000 in prizes in six categories. Numerous winners, runner-ups and a grand prize for "Best In Show." Stacy and the "Who's Walking Who" gang judge the official competition annually.

REGISTRATION FEE: $5 Raffle Ticket
DIRECTIONS: Enter Tompkins Square Park at 9th street on Avenue A or Avenue B . Walk east along the 9th street path until you reach the dog run.

 THE DOG CULTURE FAIR
 
 
INFO: A fundraiser for The Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals, The Dog Run is hosting the first annual Dog Culture Fair! Come on in and ask the trainer those pressing questions about your dog's behavior, have them photographed by our pet photographer, investigate the delicious Latka's Dog Treats, get your "best friend" a massage, and find out why Stella & Chewy's all natural raw dog food is great for your dog! Pick up a copy of Ken Foster's "Dog Culture", featuring various New York City authors on their beloved companion, and don't forget to buy a raffle ticket because we've got great things in store for you and your companion!
