I got my first dog, a yellow lab puppy, when I was 5 years old. Her name was Sandy and she was my best friend and adventure buddy. We grew up together and she taught me how rewarding it is to have a meaningful, understanding relationship with an animal. From then on I was hooked. I tried to spend as much time around animals as I could. I started riding horses competitively at a young age and worked on various farms throughout high school and college. Some of the work I did included managing a farm of high level eventing horses, exercising polo ponies, and training herding dogs on a sheep farm. When I ended up in New York City after graduating college at James Madison University I became a dog walker for NYC Pooch and started fostering rescue dogs with Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue. Fostering introduced me to the world of dog training and I decided that I want to make a career out of helping dogs live their best lives in this crazy human world of ours. I’m so glad to be working with Stacy and the Who’s Walking Who team and very excited to help all of our clients live their best doggy lives!
